Cooler works from AC and DC , but does not freeze below -6F  when set to -8F (see pictures)
When powered from 12V DC and the battery it is connected to drops below 13V, the cooler shuts down with error code 33.
I don't know if it's normal, but I need to disclose it since the item is listed "for parts or not working," and no returns are accepted.
You can contact Dometic Customer Service to verify if it is a normal behavior for this model or not.
